On June 11, 2019, the opening ceremony of "Belt & Road" Silk Road Project of the Mayor's Scholarship for Foreign Students of Chongqing Municipal People's Government was held in Conference Room 1. 39 technical management talents of communication enterprises from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar would be trained in CCMC for 1 Month . Xie Yongchuan, President of CCMC , Zhang Min, Vice General Manager of Business Development Department of Shanghai Datang Mobile Communication Equipment Co. Ltd., Yu Guanglin, General Secretary of the Party Branch of school of Electronic Engineering, 39 trainees, staff of the International center and teacher and student representatives attended the opening ceremony. Deng Chunmei, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center Chaired the opening ceremony.
President Xie Yongchuan delivered a speech on behalf of CCMC and warmly welcomed the arrival of representatives from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar telecommunications enterprises.
Hor Hang, representative of the Cambodian Institute, recalled his excitement after receiving the invitation for training and expressed his expectation and gratitude for this rare learning opportunity.
In his speech, Souvanavong Silideth, representative of Lao,said that he was very happy to be invited to China to participate in professional skills training in CCMC, which would be a very important learning experience in his life.
Thaung ZabuHtun, representative of Myanmar was able to speak fluent Chinese. She said that she was very lucky to have this valuable training opportunity.
Zhang Min, deputy general manager of Business Development Department of Shanghai Datang Mobile Equipment Co., Ltd., introduced the research and development achievements and social achievements of Datang Mobile in the field of communication technology, and reviewed the implementation of in-depth school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education between enterprises and domestic universities in recent years.
In 2017, CCMC and Datang Mobile Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully declared the Silk Road Project of Foreign Student Mayor Scholarship of Chongqing Municipal People's Government and completed the training task of 30 senior and middle managers in Cambodian telecommunications industry. This project is the second foreign- aid training project jointly held by CCMC and Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. The School of Electronic Engineering undertakes project management and has been successfully selected as one of the Silk Road Projects of the Mayor's Scholarship for Foreign Students of Chongqing Municipal People's Government in 2019.
